Default Whats Your Fastest N/A Time in the 1/4 Mile

I didnt see this posted up yet and I thought it would be interesting to see, so I guess I'll start.

I went to speedworld yesterday and ran my best time yet a 15.237, I'll get pics of the time slip when I get back home for proof.

Throw some drag radial or a performance tire on, and an engine damper i'd say you could grab a high 14.

Thats what I am hoping for when I go to the track this winter some time.

Hey Great Idea, I am Currently running Megan Headers and a Megan exhaust all except for the spipe which im hoping to get soon, and a Injen CAI... other mods that kind of helped include Progress lowering and a B&M short shifter.

my best run was a 15.2 @ 90

* dme header
* nvidia s- pipe
* nst pulleys
* trd intake

stock crappy tires (horrible)
stock exhaust from the s-pipe back

im sure if i had better tires and stiffer motor mounts id pull at least high 14's with what i have now

next year im getting the following to aid in reaching my goal of well into the 14's

* stuffer motor mounts
* launch control and no shift box
* full exhaust
* clutch pedal stop
* stronger clutch
* 9lb flywheel (already have it not installed yet)
* wider lightweight rims
* better tires

im hoping for atleast a 14.7 on street tires with that setup but we will see how it works out

i think the thing holding this car back the most is the stock tires. i feel they are adding at least 2 tenths on to my time. they have very little grip threw 1st and the beginning of 2nd

I'm jealous of you guys at lower elevation. NA cars here run about a full second slower because of the elevation.

Congrats to The01Cav for running a high 15 with the auto. Never saw that in my life even with the simple basic mods (CAI, Exhaust)

Best i've seen is a 16.8, and my own personal best when I had my auto was a 16.9.

Auto's shouldn't be running that so feel lucky, lol

I lost to an 03 or 04 cav when I ran that 16.9, lol. He ran a 16.7. Bone stock, not sure on his mileage.

Pretty embarrassing because him and all of my other buddies thought for sure my tc would kill them because they saw and raced alot of 5spds.

I ran a 2nd to last gen SpecV with intake and exhaust with my 5spd tc and we were side by side. HUGE difference between auto and stick w. mods
