The 5th gear in my '06 manual TC keeps popping to neutral, already had it diagnosed by a mechanic. I need websites on where I could get good and affordable parts for my transmission such as synchronizer package.... Please, any suggestion is appreciated.

 

check fluid level make sure its full

 

do you think it would be the fluid that is causing the gear to not engage? All the other gears are fine

 

yes it will. however popping out is usually a synchro issue. 5th gear synchro can be changed in the car just take the pan off the end of the tranny then you will have access to the 5th gear synchro.

 

O.k, but where can I buy that part from is what am asking? Any parts dealer such as autozone, advanced auto parts??? Online?

 

Find the part number and google it thats what i usually do
