Where is the shifter cable in the bay?

nice pics. i will be removing the stock airbox to install the i bushings right? i have a feeling it will turn out to not be a simple install...it seems like the simple stuff always takes much longer than expected, i'll hope for the best and try to not lose a clip, haha

To make sure you have the right bushing on the right cable, try putting on both of the bushings without the e-clips. You should have a nice fit on both of them. Then put on the e-clips when you are 100% sure they are on correctly. I used the stock pins because mine were not stretched when they were removed and they seem stronger than the newer ones.

Bump. So I finally grew a pair and put my new cable bushings in yesterday. Those pictures helped tremendously. Took me 30 minutes. I'm sorry I doubted the experts here. =P
Went on a spirited drive earlier today and I could definitely feel the difference. The original rubber bushings weren't that worn out (surprisingly, after 11k miles) compared to other pictures I've seen. But I could definitely feel the difference in my shifts. Stronger, and seemed ... definite? I dunno if that's the word I'm looking for, but yeah, I felt the difference!
Great mod!
