As we have no idea how many runs the scionspeed tC did before reaching 12.09, so its just ZPI trying to rain on Scion Speeds parade instead of just doing the human thing and say "Yah, nice run." Then asking for the tC to show its back up runs. Honestly we have no idea what scionspeed has done, But until I see the ZPI make faster than 12.09 once.. I could care less if they did it 3 times or 20. Just once. Scion speed has the faster tC.
As for Jotech. Its an alright tC, i personally don't like some things he did in the build process. However, it was built for show. Not to be daily driven or a track monster.

While I admire greatly the efforts and accomplishments ZPI and a few others that made, "fastest tC' to me will always be real world, driven on the streets, canyons, pump gas, reliable, corners on rails, stops on a dime, beats cars supposedely far quicker, etc.... and can last more than a few qtr mile runs before needing a complete rebuild
Don't get me wrong at all, Titan=COOL, ZPI=+COOL, Dezod+COOL, Scoinspeed+????
I just like corners better and plan to have the "fastest" cornering street driven tC there is, period. We are investing a huge amount of our time and a fair amount of money into doing this, it will take power of course, why it will be boosted
Trying to beat EVO, STI and M3s in SM class, SCCA, autocross is quite a big undertaking, one heck of a challenge, why it is so fun;)
We will most likely be running one of the turbo systems gettintg so much attention here, just not ready to spill the beans but when the time comes....

As for trying to beat STI's on autocross. I've came close once in my box. The only reason i did is because the guy messed up twice on two corners and lost controll. But of course, straight away he absolutely killed it and regained his time to a degree once he got back into the corners. I have found that STI drivers either aren't very good at all at autocross, or the drivers are absolutely amazing. I haven't seen an EVO yet on autocross..Well not in person. M3's ive seen a few. And all of them had amazing times. I think people should start looking more into autocross and road tracks if they want to build a overall fast car. Straight line anyone can do.

auto x requires alot of skill but not every one can do a 1/4 run well not good any ways just like every one can auto x but not good
if you look at my times with my few mods hell the exhaust wasnt even one of them till saterday and i hit a15.2 in the 1/4 it takes skill just like auto x and not every on has the skill to shift that quick and launch that well just like not every one has the skill to take turns like you and rick

ZPI's Track run was not a streetable car in any state. Unless they allow you to run open downpipes in kentucky /shrug i haven't lived there in years.
As for Scionspeeds suspension set up and LSD then in auto x i'm pretty sure scionspeed has the faster tC. The LSD in thier tC is a phantom grip, wich i've heard numerous arguments on how the phantom grip isn't a "real LSD".
Scionspeed's "Light weight interior" advantage. Racing seats, TWM short throw shifter, MOMO steering wheel, MOMO Pedals, Titanium floor grids. You fail to mention the complete audio system wich kinda balances out the entire fact that the only real weight reduction scionspeed had was the racing seats
Scionspeed had a larger turbo than ZPI. Yes they did, but they didn't use the huge t60 from their stage 3 kit in that run. They used a t3/4 hybrid turbocharger. The same type of turbo charger that dezod is using in his kit. ZPI were the ones who chose the 16g turbo for the tC. As far as I know ZPI is the only ones using the 16g for thier kit. Greddy is using an 18g, turbonetics is using the t3/4 hybrid as well as dezod.Yes scionpseed ran more boost, but the scionspeed did not run at full boost. Thier tC was fine until 19 psi when the boost started to lift the head. Also the scionspeed tC's times are old, From articles I've read they are working on internals and head bolts.
Scionspeed is pretty much dead. You can not even order thier turbo kits online anymore from my understanding. But, the fact of the matter is Scionspeed was the 1st in the 12s. and currently have the fastest 1/4 time. You people need to put your emotions aside and just give credit where credit is due.
And as for you turbocustomz. Lets say you did run against the scionspeed tC and they ran thier best of 12.09..

Not to mention, when you talk about street. Scionspeed might have the fastest set up, but its not going to last long from what i hear and from what people have posted about things going wrong. ZPI has their act together, and have run numerous times proving its not a one hit wonder with fast times. Thats why i give ZPI the winner for 1/4. If you don't agree with that, thats fine. Thats just how i view it.

I agree, 1/4 mile does take some skill, I can fairly good at autocross but there are better drivers out there no doubt. I have to prepare a care exceptionally well and then do the best I can as a driver who is still learning FWD, hard to break decades of RWD habits.
I have great reaction times at a drag race tree yet launch poorly all the time, lol! Then again I have only drag raced a few times in my life and with road race tires it is rather hard to do it right, I have been faster on street tires, really.
The last time I ran some drags .500 was considered a perfect reaction time the way their timing system operated. I did a .508, .503, .501 and a .500 back to back yet launched terribly each time, lol!
They had a trophy for best reaction time and a guy with a really sweet Pantera kept laying down his slips, then I would, then he would, really funny except I kind of felt bad for winning, his best was a .502 so I did not show my .500 just to be nice about it. In fact I had no intentions of picking up a trophy, my kids bugged me into doing it.
Anyway, all forms of motor sports requires skill and I appreciate the skill of good divers, riders, etc, even lawn more racers, really
Once we get our tC fully dialed in I am going to put a pro level driver with experience in really quick FWD cars in and find out just how fast our car is and then use his (or her as I know some women that can shame all of us here) feedback to make it better yet;)
