Default World motorsports and descendant Throttle tune is Great!

I just put my throttle tune on today from World Motorsport and it is awesome! Now when I hit the gas pedal it is a lot more responsive and my car is a lot more fun to drive. The best part is it is completely plug and play. I just want to say thanks to Rob over at Descendant racing for all his help, they are one of the best companies out there and they truly make high quality products and have great customer service. I will post pics of mine up soon and here's a link to the throttle tune:

Did it fix the part-throttle surge (you know the one where if you're in first and have it just open at 16-17%, how it starts 'bucking', which Toyota says is part of the design)?

Yes I know what you mean with the bucking when your taking off and yes it fixed that and I was acutally surprised it did, Thats one reason why I feel this product is a great performance mod for the money. You can also really feel a lot more pull throughtout 1st to 3rd gear. It almost like your giving the tC alittle shot of spray.

Ok so plug it in and good to go? The description on it with the link you posted made it seem like there is some tuning involved.

Watching & waiting. I don't like tuning. Nowhere does that around me...

Can't you just tell us if you really did just "plug & play" or if you did have to have something extra done to it? Maybe it adds what it says on plug & play, but it can be tweaked to perfection also?

Me wants a Unichip =)

I think it just means you dial in the response with the **** on the controller, therefore, "tuning" the throttle to your likeness.

Yep...100% Plug & Play! The tuning he is referring to is the different increments that the controller allows the driver to choose from. Great addition to ANY Scion tC...makes a HUGE difference in throttle response & eliminates the dreadful Drive By Wire LAG common on all Scion tC's!

The units are in stock ready to ship...if anyone has questions please feel free to contact us.

Thank you,

nope...only available for the 2005-2009 Scion tC as of now.

We are working on the 2008+ Scion xB unit now, but don't expect to have anything available until SEMA.

The increments are to gauge how quickly the controller activates. From the drivers seat the pilot can adjust the **** to his or her liking depending on what they feel is best for acceleration. Super simple...and can be installed in minutes!

The install is really ez...

You disconnect the electrical connector found on the Scion tC accelerator pedal and our PNP harness plugs in between that. Then all you have to do is secure the wires and mount the display. Simple as that....

Thanks for the explanation Rob! Sounds simple and i defintely think this will catch on. I know i hate that hesitation. Well looks like something i will have to think about saving for in the future.

Yeah, I'd be interested in a group buy. $350 seems a little steep at the moment just to fix throttle delay. Regardless though, seems like a solid product. Maybe some videos and more pictures of the install?
