Default Would this be obnoxious

I was wondering if anyone has done this..but i actually wanted to know how loud it would be or raspy because i dont want anything loud or raspy or backfiring on me...lol
I was planning on getting the megan racing header keep the stock cat(unless theres a high flow cat i dont know about) and get the OEM style megan racing cat-back system.
thanks

Any time you put on a header without a resonator it will sound loud and raspy.

That looks like it might workout without any extra resonators. My Drift Spec-Exhaust from Megan needed a resonator and the shop I went to threw the a resonator in the same place in that picture..

I run the full Megan setup at the moment (header, S-pipe, and OE-RS).

Sorry to say... it's quite raspy.

However, I took out the first of the two resonators (the small, midget one ) and had a Magnaflow hiflow cat welded on. Significantly recuded the rasp.

At this point it's a matter of tone. The OE-RS isn't very loud so the rasp basically rockets over the nearly nonexistant tone (for those of you WITHOUT a header who want a quiet exhaust, this is money). I'm switching the axleback to the HKS HiPower which will sound a little more aggressive so the rasp will sound more like edge. If that still doesn't work, I'll put on the biggest F'ing Magnaflow resonator they got.

doesnt the high flow cat make the exhuast louder..from what i heard it does..and how much is magna flows 18" resonator i couldnt find a price because if its raspy with a header i might just take out the first resonator and replace it with that one

A high flow cat won't make it louder. It'll quite it a tad and help cut the rasp.
