Default you call that a weighted shifter ****? haha

ok, so i wanted to see if a weighted shifter **** would actually make the difference. i'll be getting the twm short shifter soon and i wanted to know if the weighted **** was actually worth the extra $80+

at work we have these weights that we use on our scales to make sure they are accurate. i checked one out...turns out it actually screws right onto the scion shifter rod.
man, it looks like crap! and it's not really conformatable either...but heres whats good. this weight weighs 1 full pound...thats heavier than i've seen any of the weighted ***** at twm.
so, does it make a difference? well, with the stock shifter...not too much of one, certainly not worth the money. it helps it slide into gears better. i'll have to see when i get my short shifter. for now, i'll just stick with my stock shifter ****.

why is this power hungry?

it's like i hung a 1 pound weight from my gas pedal so my car could go faster.

Cool experiment. Always research before spending money.

So stop hating on the guy - he did a good job.

You start with the 1lb shifter, then you move on to 5lbsand eventually 10lbs. Its the tC Workout Plan!

It was an experiment, guys.. he's not using that as his shifter but to see whether or not a weighted shift **** is worth the money.

Apparently, it isn't for 80~ bucks.

And it's not really like a weighted gas pedal... You could probably push your foot down faster than gravity... Anyways, I think it fits in Power Hungry not because of gained power but because it allows quicker shifting or was supposed to. Remember, this is NOT his shifter but a test dummy shifter. In anycase, quicker shifting is supposed to gain a few tenths of a second in acceleration or something.. It really doesn't BELONG anywhere but it belongs here more than drag coefficient..

The TWM Classic **** actually weighs 1lb. 16.01oz (454g), to be exact.

And any weighted **** will make a huge difference.
