Default ZPI Stage 1 Turbo Kit Installed w/pics

I had some free time this weekend so I decided to go to KY and see what ZPI was all about. All I can say is that these guys are awesome!

I ordered a Stage 1 kit a little while back but I decided I wanted to do a custom intercooler setup. Something that would give it the sleeper look. I called them up a week or so back to see if they could squeeze me in for this weekend. Kenny said it was cool so I drove down there Friday afternoon and got there early Saturday morning. They promptly went to work on the car when I got there. I basically chilled at their shop with a few friends until check-in at the hotel. I left for a good while to rest up and came back and they were still working diligently on the car. They asked me and my friends if we wanted to get something to eat. They picked us up at the hotel later on and basically chilled for a few.

Next morning they were up early and already working on the car. I don't know a shop out there that would come in early on a Sunday and work on your car but they did. They worked all the way to 1am Monday morning making sure everyone was perfect on the car. If one piece didn't fit right, they would redo it. They did a custom tune on the car and double and tripled checked everything. Everything was on point. Pipes were solid, welds were clean, every nut and bolt checked. They even offered to let us stay at their place and crash for the night but me and my friends had to head back to VA. Kenny hooked us up with his personal # just in case anything went wrong. He also gave me a quart of oil just in case and also offered to ship all the extra parts I had crammed in the car. I didn't have one problem with the car on the way back home on an 11hr drive.

ZPI defintely went above and beyond for me and that makes me wonder where all the hate and animosity comes from on this forum. They are the most down to earth people you could meet and have been nothing but helpful. I have never met a shop out there that treats its customers like close friends. ZPI is definitely a great company and they will always have my business. They are a great asset to the Scion Community.

..Ok ok enough with the talking. Here are the pics:

Yuu never talked about how the car felt. Im sure it felt faster but I was expecting ZOMG THIS IS TEH PIMPZORZZZZZ or something. So...how much faster does it feel?

To answer this question I will refer to a quote from Spaceballs:
"Ludicrous Speed"

Haha..But the car is really impressive. Boost is almost instaneous. I've driven in other turbo cars before but this definitely beats them hands down. I spin tires all the way up to third. I'll be picking up the ZPI s-pipe and exahust and will head down to my local dyno. I'll try and get vids up too.

I opted to keep the grill up front and the pipes are hidden behind the bumper. If you look at it straight on you can barely tell there is a fmic there. I'll get more pics up once I clean up all the dead bugs.
