ZPIracing Turbo Video!!!!!!!!

Holy Repost!
K20 motors are showing HUGE power gains on 3in vs 2.5in exhaust. It's all about scavenging and it's effect. Someone should test it on the Scion engine, I'd bet 3in shows some good performance.

A large exhaust will affect your low end? Your turbo is spooling mid 2000rpm, what low end is there?

A 3" will always flow better, that's obvious, but it will be completely obnoxious (sp?) on a non turbo 4 cylinder. A 3" is great for a turbo, because the turbo acts as a second muffler and the rasp is gone.

K20 is an awesome ___ motor. I used to have an RSX till I totalled it last year. The stock header isnt 3inches but from the header d0wn to the catalystic converter that whole piping is 3 inches then it goes to the exhaust piping I think was 2-1/4. I had a Full race header that replaces the stock header and cat. I do not remember if it was 3 inches but Im pretty sure it was close. That header gave massive gains low end and top end. If you check out clubrsx.com there are plenty of dyno's show over 15whp increase with a race header.

The header that Burns Stainless makes for the K20 engine made 12whp dyno proven through a stock exhaust. Adding a 3in header-back exhaust adds HUGE gains on the K series engines, and I'd venture to guess that on your 2.4's, it would as well.
