thats what I figured because a bpv is just a bov that recirculates air. If it ever leaks air under boost, your ecu will still add fuel from the lost air that was alreafy metered by the MAF sensor. Also if you rev it hard enough and then release the throttle while the car is not actively moving in gear, all the air released from the bov will not be entering the combustion chamber and I'm 99% sure it will stall or momentarily run like crap from being too rich, just as i've seen on dozens of turbo cars.

thats along the lines what i was thinking - the MAF sensor is going to read the air all wrong because of the bov ..... the bpv is what ya need. .....which is too bad because everybody is saying the video sounded crappy but from what i heard....the bov sounded badass.

it did sound badass, but better stick with the BPV.

Im guessing you just slapped it on.

BOVs on MAF cars isnt advisable depending on what mods you have. BPV will do a better job but if you really want it and not bog down adjust it properly.

there should be a nut on top to twist, rev it a little bit and then watch the valve close, it should close at idle if not then tighten it. Since its generic, im not sure if its a exact copy of the valves inside.
