This event was a success for the debut race of the P Tuning tC as only minor issues presented themselves. Im glad Toan decided to tune the tC with the methanol because that is what saved the motor from detonating when the wastegate line popped off.
Happy as we are about how the tC performed... we are greedy and want more so today we test fitted 285's under the front fenders and it looks like a possibility .
Summit Point is the next time attack we will attend, it is our "home track" and hope to do well. I will be running my xA in modified fwd as well and hope to take a 1 2 finish. Scott M. ( friend/customer) will be running his tC in Fwd Street and hopefully he will do well also!
Virginia International Raceway time attack in October is the one we are really looking forward to... it is a 3 day event and anybody who is somebody races in that one, the west coast guys come out as well! We aim to have the built motor in for that event for sure as that track favors power. Also Ross knows that track VERY well so he will be extremely competitive. What's really cool is that the 4 fastest times over-all race head to head in a final lap battle! That should be interesting... With Ross' ability at VIR and with 500hp and maybe 285's... it seems as though it may be a possibility for us to acheive top 4 over-all. It is a stretch, but goals are good!

rhythmnsmoke and everyone,
Thanks for the kind words. MrC and the gang at PTuning have worked their butts off getting the car ready for this event and I'm glad we did not disappoint! First let me clear a few things up, The car dynoed at only 335hp, the Progress Technologies coilovers were AMAZING! The car was so stiff we ended up disconnecting the front swaybar for more front grip, so when you see that picture of the car on three wheels thats actually a good thing. The super strong Seibon hood held up just fine, and the Hawk Performance pads really could take your face off during braking.
here are a few pictures we snapped:

Again a BIG Thanks to PTuning and our sponsors Seibon, Hawk Performance, and Progress Technologies!

Yeah, I remember it dynoing 335whp on a Dyno Dynamics. Just to clarify, I was just speaking in terms of dyno jet numbers when I mentioned the 370-380whp.
Screen names I think can only be changed by the moderators. Either that or create a new account and never use the misspelled one.
