Hate to say it but get it tuned and you should be fine. You really shouldn't be driving on a base map. It's really only to get your car started and to the tuners.

Take it to a shop with a dyno and tuner. Let the tuner know your mods and what problems you are having. If there is a cold start problem let them know. You will most likely be required to leave your car overnight so the tuner can work on the cold start the following morning.

Let us know what state you are in and members will chime in with shops names

you honestly shouldn't be adjusting the settings if you don't know what you're doing. This topic has been covered numerous times, you shelled out the cash to get a turbo kit, you can do 1 of 2 things, you can shell out some more dough for a tune by someone who knows what they're doing, or you can shell out dough on a new engine by running without a tune!

Yea, if you adjust the fuel curve wrongly, you can blow up your motor very easy and very quickly. It's rather easy to make a mistake.

Sounds like an incorrect jumper inside the Ultimate, esp if you are using the ignition harness

That would be Jumper 8? Check it and change it from 1-2 to 2-3 if you are using the ignition harness or a pnp harness.

I think a thread on SL has a picture on the jumper setting and info . that's where I got my jumper setting found. You just might have to search around.

I just changed mine the other night. I think there was two of them Jumper 8 and the other was already changed on mine. Hold on... JP8 to 2-3 and JP7 should be on 1-2. That should be all you need with the tC. I think the rest of them had to do with vtec for hondas.

I might be wrong. Butttt, I don't think the ultimate can control VVT-I. To do that you would need this:
http://www.greddy.com/products/displ...SubCategory=72

there is another one that does this too. I think its called a camcon.

I guess they chose not to integrate that. If they wanted to, i'm sure they could have.
