*Round 2 Formula Drift....PICS + Vids*
If it wasn't for me, this site/section would not have any Media Content! Damn, Formula D was a BLAST! I was a bit start struck when I walked up to the Gush and all the other drivers. They are all taller than I was expecting....LOL. Shook hands with T. Foust, got some great Pics and BAD **** Vids. These are my "celebrities", damn movie stars and actors....
I'm still here in Atlanta about to check out of the hotel in 30 min. I snapped about 198 Photos, and recorded the WHOLE Round 2 of Formula D, RIGHT at the Apex coming into the Horse Shoe.
I'm not going to upload all the pics and vid yet, but here is a Teaser shot!

Cool I was there too. He did ok when they were running pairs but when they started the singles he didn't even make it to the first turn before stopping and turning around. Not sure what went wrong.
Glad someone took pics. I only took one and it was of my car.

Yeah, unfortunately though, when he made his Tandem run with the Braille Battery 350z, it was only practice. The solo runs, were the actual Qualifying runs. Being that some mechanical failure caused him to abort, he could not qualify and was out of the competition.... I was sadden at that moment, cause the tC looked very nimble at Road Atlanta.

I just returned home peps. I will at least get the pics loaded up tonight. Vid will have to wait till tomorrow or Tues. But you will have vid.
The Event was by far...AWESOME!
Winners:
1) Rys Millen (Soltice GXP)
2) Takatori (Skyline GTR)
3) Ryan Tuerck (Soltice)
I have a t-shirt with Ken Gushi, Tanner Foust, and Sam Hubinette on it.
Then I stood in line to have the other drivers sign the little book they give you with the driver profiles in them. The likes of Bill Sherman, Conrad Grunewald, Calvin Wan, and the youngest drifter now, P. Mondurant (boy is only 17, and competing in Formula D.)
