Well, let us know what you think about the price/performance once it's installed. At that price I may give it more consideration.

So, did you have to mention anything to get that price, or did you just walk up and say "I want the supercharger" and they said "It's $2,130."
Also, are you getting it installed where you bought it? If not, who will honor the warantee? The seller or the installer?

yea i had to tell them the new part number. they originally told me $3200 under the old part number. then when i told them the new one the right price came up.im having the same place put it in. they gave me a slight discount ($120) for buying it thru them. as for the warranty any toyota/scion dealer will be able to do the repairs if needed. the warranty is thru scion corp not individual dealerships.

Why are there two different part numbers for the supercharger?

i think eventually the old part number is going away. i don't know why they couldn't just make the price change on the old part number.

yea there are some minor differences on the 07-08 motors from what i hear. im sure the reason for the price drop on the 05-06 s/c is because of its age. im sure they will sell more now that the price is more reasonable. i'm sure glad i waited.

They need to drop the price on the 07-08 kit too. $3k is just way too much for what you get.

You dont need an engagemnet ring,,, you need a bigger pulley and some meth injection!!! You could always get one of those fifty cent rings out of the vending machine I dont think she would mind.
