I'm running the Exedy Stage II. Exedy makes clutches for a large amount of OEM applications in Japan if that tells you anything.

Congrats on hitting 300 that ought to be fun!

Teaser Pic

[IMG][/IMG]

Small teaser pic for now, trying to find all my other ones and now its snowing here in Washington State so its preventing me from my video!! Definitely in need of a new clutch but am waiting until spring when it dries up for it to be worth while. Also is a turbo timer necessary or what are some suggestions? and wanting to know if 16 or 17s would be a better idea??

a turbo timer is not necessary unless you're going to be in a rush a lot. the only time you would be using a turbo timer is if you go into boost, and then are going to be turning your car off right away. but you can just sit in your car for like 20 seconds or so and be your own turbo timer.

agree but just to show you what can happen to your turbo if you dont give the turbo proper time to cool after beating on it

oil cooks in the center section and turns to carbon, carbon clogs the oil passages and starves the bearings of oil thus destroying them.

The first time i was boosted i got tired of sitting in my car to let the turbo cool off so i just got an HKS type 0 turbo timmer for like $90. Now no matter what the timmer will automatically keep my car on for 2 minutes after turning the key off. If i go for a boost run i set the timer for 4 minutes. No more sitting in my car.

^^ Cause Comepetion Clutch sucks!!! I had the stage 4. Only lasted for about 10K then i found the springs to the sprung clutch were poping out. Almost everyone with this clutch has had this experience.

So i got the Maint. Req. light that I noticed today and as far as I know of it means that I need to change my oil or add oil correct?? Well I barely have 1000 miles on the oil since I put it in, and the oil on the dipstick shows that its full....so should I just go to a jiffy lube to have them shut it off or what should I do??

Small Update
Fixed the little oil leak I had and has been holding up all day and also ordered an HKS type 0 TT for 58 Bucks! should be here on wednesday or thursday. Also I only have boost/vac. and A/FR gauge, Is any other gauge really needed? or would I be fine?

you can reset it yourself, with the car on push the button on the gauge cluster till it shows odometer, turn car all the way off, push in button and hold it while you turn the key in the on position, keep holding it till all the dashed go away.
