my answer is going to be a no since the 06 and 08 have different compression ratios

actually you can pull it off...just u would need to change the maf to the same year as the ecu,

think about it, when u build your motor for n/a applications and just swap pistons...u dont tune... so yea u could use the ecu ...would i do it..no takes too much time

well, the pin-out on the ECU harness is different between 05-06 and 07+, thus why one has to specify model year when ordering a PnP harness for an F/IC or eManage...

this is exactly why i said i wouldnt do it it would take alot of diagrams and snipping of wires

Does that mean the ECU for an '05 or '06 are interchangeable with each other...and an ECU for '07, '08, or '09 are interchangeable between those three? ...or does it have to be the exact model year?

05 pairs with 06, 07 pairs with 08 and 09 no modifications needed
