Default 07 TRD S/C dyno (and vs stock)

The verdict: 201whp/183wtq

Hate the results, hate me, call me names, I don't care. I love my DD and it's got plenty of spunk.

That dyno definatley leaned more in favor of the S/C its more like a 50whp gain not 40 like everyone says or that may just may be because its an 07.

50whp is roughly a 60-65 crank hp gain, which is not bad imo out of a 6-7psi centrifugal S/C. The tune is very conservative from TRD... you see where their priorities lie: strong torque for daily driving and safety (a/f runs into the high 10's up top). There's another 5-10whp to be had with a stronger tune imo.

The only change is the addition of the TRD S/C. I've had the TRD Axleback forever (as if it gives any gains anyway).

still running stock bpv? not that changing it would add hp per say, but it could hold boost better... which maybe would help numbers some??
just wondering out loud. As our set ups are about the same--nice to see those numbers.

Forge 007 was put in after the day after I got the S/C on the car (next day shipping 4tw). Not that I noticed any difference, I don't really think mine was leaking (it was a whole day old when I pulled it out *shrug*).

I don't know. Stock 07 auto dyno'd about 130whp, so probably 170-175whp with the s/c.

Good stuff man, very smart to get a back to back. Now with every mod, you can see the actual difference! Slap a header and s-pipe, re-route the breather lines to a catch can, get a k&n filter and get rid of the hydrocarbon air restrictor, get a recirculated BOV like the forge 007 or custom install an HKS ssqv recirculated and BAM! You will be up some ponies for sure! Then slam an NST 9.5 psi pulley and everything gets real fun fast!

Ok thanks. I just got the TRD s/c on my 07 last week so I am guessing my number would be similar.

I'm also thinking, now with the lsd's out, that one of those may be a real wise idea even before going all out with more mods. Hell, i can't hardly get the 190-200hp to the ground, let alone going even higher. As much as we want to add to our power #'s, we may end up spending the ching on the lsd before anything else.... so then when the hp does go up, we can actually enjoy it. Hopefully as more of the blown cars get the lsd, there will be some info on how much it helps in hard driving.

My only worry is the car will sound like ___. I went through that once and it's not a fun sound.

What breather lines?

I'm not sure if hte 05-06 K&N filter fits the 07. And what is the hydrocarbon air restrictor??

Forge 007 is installed already.

Would love to, but that pretty much voids my powertrain warranty

you just voided the warranty as soon as you installed the forge007 so you dont have to worry about warranty anymore.

I know, but I won't let them use a BPV as a reason to void my warranty
