Default 07 ZPI Turbo questions

Ok first things first.... I did use the search option and I still have a couple of questions.

1)Does the ZPI Stage 0 Turbo kit work on a new 07 Tc M/T?

2)I hear about this CEL issue, does it always happen or only sometimes?

3)What the heck is an antifouler? What does it do? I heard it can fix the CEL but I need than confirmed.

4)What else is req or recommended for this kit?

5)Do I need new injectors? I hear that you need 440 to run a turbo. Is it true? Does the kit come with the injectors?

6)Can the car pass inspection with the turbo installed if there are no leaks?

7)Will my car still have it's warranty?

If you can plz give me a total price and list of items needed for a complete install of the stage 0 ZPI kit like gauges, Emanage if needed, etc..

9) Is this kit safe for your car? I have an 07...wouldnt want to have it wrecked then the dealer not replace it because of the turbo.

10) Is this kit worth buying? How long does it last anyways?

11) Can I run 93 octane with a turbo? and how low will my mileage be with the ZPI stage 0 installed?

sry for all the questions but plz answer them if you can

having a butt load of horsepower and going uber fast.

passing inspections differs state to state. i just did mine in maryland, it is every 2 years. all they did was check my gas cap was working, and see if i had a cel, and then did an obdII check. no big deal. if you lived somwhere like california, then you pretty much can't even change your tailpipe without breaking the law.

you can either modify a zpi kit to get get a cel and have it fitted with cat'ed downpipe so you can pass emissions.

or you can buy a turbo kit from dezod that come with the option of cat'ed dowpipes.

you can get a turbo to pass emissions testing in lots of states, just easier in some more than others.

The point is how much more fun do you want to have with your car? Only you can answer that question.

BTW what state are you in? As long as you ar not in California, passing inspection may not be as much of an issue.

I'm in Cali and i'm running a turbo. I guess i'm just willing to take the chance. Considering my car doesn't get one look from the police where I live. Chances are, its the freakin lamborghini or Maserati chillin next to me half the time! LOL

i wouldnt mine moving to florida, there are just so many hott cars there. As far as the answer on why even mod your car, its all about having fun, take risks, you only live once, might as well make it worth it.. and passing inspection.. pay someone off.. everyone has done it, or will end up doing it.

if your worried about it, get a different kit. i've talked to alex (playinwithfire) about his turbonetics set up. and he has no cat and doesn't have a cel.

or spend the money get get a kit with a cat'ed downpipe. that should prevent you from getting a cel.

there are lots of turbo tc's without cel, don't know if alot of them are zpi kits, but it is entirely possible with proper tune, anti-foulers, or cat'ed downpipe.

anti-foulers are not 100%. cat'ed is slang for catalytic converter. if you have a downpipe with a catalytic converter, you won't have a cel.
