10.5lb s/c tune - 268whp/228trq - 07/22/08 - w/ vid&dyno
Well i setup my day for tuesday to get tuned. I still have my 7lb pulley on but used to have a 9.5 back 18months ago. I know that with my 9.5 i used the K070890 belt. With my 10.5 I bought a K070885.
I really should have posted this way before now but what do you think about my choice? Anybody out there saying it will 100% be ok or 100% not be ok? I really need to know now so I can "try" to drive around and pick up a few other belt sizes before tuesday morning.
**EDIT**
That belt size is 100% correct. the 885 is perfect for anybody w/ the 10.5lb pulley.
Also - here is the dyno pic and vid. Sorry but my scanner is messed up so I had to take picture of the dyno sheet so its a bit bent. Its an overly from my stock boost and my 10.5lb boost setup. All the other parts were the same except for the pulley change (and a retune).
And here is the dyno vid:

PM or message NST, they're pretty good about answering quickly. NSTonAIM. Make sure you tell them what year vehicle the supercharger is for.

That's the same belt I'm using, but I have the 9.5psi and overdriven alternator pulleys. I also have the stock sized water pump and crank pulleys, but those don't affect belt size.
I picked up a couple belts from www.rockauto.com. Quick shipping and reasonable prices.

^yup then that surely sounds like the size i need with the stock pulleys (other then the s/c). Yup - rockauto is where I got my belt from. Even with rush shipping it came out $10 less then the store.

Ohhhh, awesome! Good to hear! I am planning on camming mine by the end of the year... need to pull the head off for various reasons, so I might as well do it all at once. 268 sounds nice!!! How does it drive?

Thanks - I was hoping for atleast 255whp so I was happy to see such nice linear lines and nice hp # to match. The car was tuned so the methanol is pretty much there as a safeguard (and to keep #'s more consistant) - ....just incase it ever ran out I wouldnt have an engine left. Can't go wrong w/ cooler more dense air. I really didnt beat the heck out of it yet so I dont know how hard it pulls from a dead stop. All the traffic I hit going home I really didn't want to test things out with accident after accident of traffic.
