reacts great - you cant dump the clutch cause tires are tires ..but you can nicely put it into second then floor it and have it hook up ... 3rd hooks up nice. I would tell anybody to get their flywheel done the same time as clutch and lsd if they want to upgrade in groups

I have the draxis exhaust ...that isnt made anymore ... I dont know if there are any better hp choices. I like my exhaust and bought it years ago .... I have no clue how the new exhausts are compared to mine.

Yeah I've been thinking about a replacement header but I am worried about heat, how has yours held up with the extra heat from the header?

Did you upgrade your 440CC injectors ?
nope - those are the 440's - if i keep this setup i didnt have to upgrade (which is one of a few reasons why I went with 10.5lbs).
I find it interesting that you stayed with the S/C 440CC injectors, I would figure it wouldn't stay within the 80% duty cycle (I could be wrong though).

^ i have my header jethot coated - it was sent right from strup to jethot and jethot sent me it (thats when I saw it for the first time). Its good for over a year now. The injectors are fine. Anything over what I have needs new injectors but they are fine ... Keep in mind that im only getting .5-1lb more boost then the normal nst pulley owner w/ the 9.5lb pulley.

i might do a 12 psi pulley down the road, but i'm really waiting to see if trd makes that intercooler first. if not, then i guess i'll look into water/meth injection. how often do you find yourself refilling your resevoir anyway?

I am lookin into that custom 14 Psi pulley. too bad they can't make the 15 Psi.
and yes i am also lookin into that Intercooler. would hel a Lot with higher boost levels. and proper tuning.

I have mine tapped into the bottom of my windshield washer tank so its a 1 gallon tank - with that said, I go through the whole thing in a few months but add more every month or so to fill it up.

So how do you have your wtaer/meth set up. Does it spray automatically at certain boost levels or psi levels or do you switch it on and off?

i think they usually spray depending on tune and/or throttle position.

you set it so it starts to spray at a certain pound boost and then you set the other so it knows what the max pound it should max out with.

Meth injection is a great way to add power and keep the power consistant on a hot day. A tuner must have experience tuning with the injection though as power gains will be non-existent or minimal at best.

I have been running it for a long time and with my tune 3 months ago we unleashed a lot of power on the dyno with it, but it was a little scarey because the timing is advanced 8 degrees near redline ( on any boosted car that equals big boom on pump gas as usually timing is retarded). Car ran very strong with no detonation, it was like tuning on 117octane gas.

Unfortunatly I have had one issue, and it cost me a motor. My nozzle got clogged once during an auto-x run and my motor detonated cracking a piston ring.

I would sugest running the flow rate meter from aquamist to monitor the flow... the indicator light came on my dash telling me the pump was working... but nothing was injected.

What I aslo did was run a low pressure in-line fuel filter before the pump, and an in-line high pressure fuel filter before the nozzle to ensure that would never happen again.

just a heads up

^which is why I just have mine to keep consistancy and also to make sure im always running safe. My tuner asked me and I didn't want to be tuned w/ it. I can't risk it clogging or me running out ...and there goes my engine. Im just using it to make sure everything is safe. At $3/gallon (the prestone window deicer ...yellow fluid) its surely worth it.

Also, I've been running strait water for the past month, taking away the methanol content we had to richen it up and pulled away a couple of degrees of timing (due to slight detonation)... but the cooling properties is ridiculous as on a 90-100 degree day after hitting boost and parking, the charge pipe after the nozzle feels about 70 degrees! No intercooler on this planet has the ability to DROP temperature from abient, at best an intercooler brings it to abient.

Meth injection also saved our tC motor last weekend in the time attack. We initially tuned it without meth just to get numbers... then decided to tune it with it but to the same horsepower level (as the stock motor was at the limit anyhow) in order to get consistent performance on the track.

The wastegate line popped off 2x and it spiked to 30 psi... the motor did not detonate due to the meth. Without it... bye bye motor

^ well thats a good story which meth saved you - but i dont get at 30psi you didn't blow something internal (forget about the detonation) ... head gasket ... rod ... something.
