Default 2006 scion tc turbo questions please help

What turbos are the best to run on a scion tc and in doing this do I need to change internal components? Or is the engine able to stand the wear and year of the turbo?

sebby dont be a d!@k lol
your internals should be good as long as you aren't going crazy with boost > 10lbs should be safe. I'm running a 20g right now at 8lbs which is a relatively small turbo and low boost. I love it and it hits full boost at about 2800 rpm. Had a 16g in it before but it was pretty much insta-boost and I spun like crazy and could almost never hook my tires from a launch. well theres my 2cents

Don't plan on spending less than 5 grand... if you don't have the cash, don't do it.

I got it from my buddy for a steal but all said and done probably about $1,300 or so but everything was used except for when I bout a new 20g turbo. This wasn't a kit that was bought from dezod or greddy or anything though. Also all the work was done by me and some friends along with the tune which saved a butt load of money. Feel free to pm me with any questions or anything
