Default 2007 TRD Supercharger is here and in stock

My local dealer here in Houston has them in stock and is ready to install/flash/etc. The quote they gave me was 3500$ Parts, 300$ labor + tax.

They said it will take 1 day to obtain the parts, and 1 day to install.

I'm very very tempted... The $ is a big expense, but I can't daily drive the turbo setup I want in the stop and go crap I deal with...

Anyone else getting an 07 S/C?

That's a nice price on the labor, if they'll do it for $300, there's no point in looking elsewhere.

How are you going to get that turbo smogged, since it's not legal in CA?

myself i'm not worried about smog, inspection, or having a turbo boost me to 400 anymore... just something that gives me more zip.. and is reliable.. supposedly the 07 s/c has it's problems resolved.. just talked to someone who has it installed and someone at scion who was able to give me more info... i'm very very tempted.

$3500 for the kit is over priced. See if they'll do the install for the same cash if you get the blower from somewhere else.... TRDsparks.com

^^what he said. what dealer were u talking to? when i got mine installed at joe myers, it took two days simply because they did not want to spend eight straight hours on one car since there were other cars that needed to be worked on as well. so they split up the hours among two days.

trdsparks.com has it for $2975+s/h (less then $100). you should ask to see if they'll charge you the same labor fee if you bring in the kit. if they say yes thats awesome. if not, i would recommend joe myers. they have a pretty decent install price and the master tech does all the s/c installations so he knows about how precise the installation has to be.

It was Don Mcgill in Katy, TX. I'll talk to their service manager and see what's up. Last time I talked to them they said they would install a TRD part at the normal TRD labor rate (which is discounted). So let's x the fingers lol

PM me when you have time, Johnny

I was seriously considering going with the 07 supercharger, but after zpi lowered their prices for the stage 0, I went with that. I do hope however, that the 07 guys get better quality and longevity out of their supercharger. Keep us posted!
