500 hp tC..
Has anybody seen the new video on YouTube with Rado's 500 hp tC, he says it only has pistons, rods and turbo.
Why can't many people pull those numbers off?

He forgets to mention everything else....
Time and lots of $$$
He has MOTEC for one. More than most people spend on there turbo kit by itself.
They have spent more time on a dyno than the normal "consumer" can afford to do (plus they have there own so it helps)
The motor is sleeved...always has been (he just dyno'd over 700whp at the Modified CHallange here in AZ just a few weeks ago, Borg Warner Turbo)
Custom intake manifold, throttle body (no more drive by wire) etc, etc
There is a long list. Its not just a simple as they make it sound.
But you will see some more 500++whp SCIONS here in the near future. Some with standalones, some with Piggybacks.

If we had the money that Rado has we could do what Kenny Tran did or even do a full RWD conversion like the RSR Drift Team.
If the tC was RWD and Tubo we would run with mostly any high end car out there.

Mine will be there with the TT Standard Stage 3 GT kit and when I build my engine, transmission, and tune the AEM Standalone. Of course there are other things going to be done as well.

I would be torn between making it AWD or RWD. Seeing as how it's built off of an AWD chassis. But then again, I love drifting, so I would lean more towards RWD like the RSR tC.

People always seem to forget about race gas. There is a gas station about 15 mins away from me that has 110 oct. on pump. I bought a 6 gallon gas can just so I can fill it there with 110.
