Me too.

The 42R setups are almost done and this will be the 1st 4088R setup I have done.

All the other components are the same with the exception of the turbo. It will be cool to see how they compare.

Regards-

Todd

I think this kit it's to much to make 500whp. It looks more to +700 and more than $20k

Thanks. Ill need it!! And eventually I wouldnt mind making maybe 600whp or more but this will be a daily driven car mind you so you can't go ***** out like that without major driveability issues (I think?)

I don't know what you mean. Maybe you know something that I don't because for what has been said. It's just another kit with a big turbo.

Hopefully someone will learn from the mistakes of others( the brave ones that tried before)

Reaper

Good luck with your build but In my opinion........you should keep your Cobra!!!!!

Uhmn maybe i am wrong but GT40 for 500 HP. those thign are rated for more the 500.
and also Lag would be involved.
i would rather go with a smaller turbo and have less Lag.
for instance Gt30 still coudl reach the amount of horsepower.
or the old 60-1 or the 62-1 turbo.
Gt40 is like too much power for the goal of reaching 500HP and 10 sec 1/4 mille.

but my opinion it's up to you if you wanna go Big turbo.

Still man tit's a 2.4 Liter.
with head work doesn't mean he can spool a GT40.

yes gt30s will do the job even the gt3076r with .82 or 1.** a/r but it will be near maxing the turbo. gt35r or gt37 too.. gt40 will surely do the job with more room for upgrade..
