I just picked up a pair of Invo's - Ill give my review of how I like them after I run them for a few days - havent taken the car out with them on it yet - gotta put the boost controller on today first Going for around 400whp So well see how they hold up - the Viper/Vette guys seem to like them and Ive heard a pretty impressive story from a guy with a boosted G35 with around 600rwhp about how they stick like glue - so we shall see

Well duh the viper/vette guys like them they also run tires almost double then yours. Tires like 285 and up. Most often run 305's. Invos in my opinion are not that sticky. You should have choose a tire with around 200 treadwear. Like some nitto01 or falken azenis or Dunlop star specs are good.

Well what matters is... I like them. Went for the first drive after dialing the car in on 15 psi. Pulls like a motha and no breaking loose even on second gear pulls! (If you dont remember im on built bottom end - 9:1 comp, E85, 60-1) Havent tried a 1st gear true launch - however like otheres have said before I dont think anything other than a dr or slick is gunna stick for a first gear launch and Im not gunna daily either of those tires I havent tried the Direzza's yet but these have DEFINATELY impressed me

u dont spin 2nd on 15 psi wtf? i spin 2nd on 12 psi with good tires

I was spinning stay radial at 18 psi tire pressure on 8 lbs boost I spin third when dirrezas are cold but once it warms up third won't spin

Are you talking about a 2nd gear pull or launching in first than spinning through second. I still spin 2nd if I launch the car in first, but im talking about making a pull in 2nd gear from like 3600 rpm - redline - its spun a tiny bit at the top of 2nd depending on the pavement Im on but it hooks very well, much better than the last tires I ran which didnt hook for ____. Im also not brake boosting, I just ease into it. If i tried brake boosting in 2nd itd prob spin

You need a pro tune.

LOL. No offense. But at 10 psi. You should have no second gear on any street tire. unless there bigger then 255's

i have no 2nd gear and if i go from 2nd to 3rd i have no 3rd or if i brake boost 3rd ill spin 3rd this is with drag radials on also who ever tunes ur car is fail sorry

i was on 9 psi and had no 2nd gear and had no 95% of 3rd from a dig.

I'm sure he will have second gear with very very sticky 245's or 255's. Obviously wider IS better so i'm going with 255's.

WTF? I spun all of second on 11psi. And your not on 15psi? That sounding really strange. And your right no matter what tire you get launching in 1st is useless unless you got drags or slicks. But like you said as long as you like the tires. You know how much power your making at 15psi.

whoa whoa... he may not be a pro tuner, but he's pretty damn efficient. How do I know? I tuned my car for 75 nitrous before... auto turbo 250ish whp... then tuned after we did manual swap. I also can do a 30 roll in second gear and not spin. And I actually have a pro tuner! It depends on where your power is in the curve man. 16g, I was spinning no matter what in 2nd gear, but I could do a 40-45 roll in 3rd and no spin. I think you guys have tuners that are tuning for the most power everywhere in your power band... thats called a power tune. Useless everwhere else but on the dyno in my opinion.

A good tuner tunes for driveability, power and a great power band. And if your tuner just tunes for dyno power well then time to change tuners.
