9.5 pulley install
#23
I know that just wondering if there is anything else that could cause this I may have a exhaust leak where the header bolts to the down pipe I'm missing a spring bolt but the donut gasket is there and it's not loose so idk. I have a cheap eBay filter on my CAI thinking about getting a aem dry flow tomorrow not sure how much better it is

I just replied to someone else's thread on belt slipping issues, but after trial and error I found out that it was the light weight crank pulley for me. If you decide to put your stock one back on, lmk how it goes. Mine slipped more as I went into higher gears as well. It didn't slip with oem nor 9.5 lbs pulley and oem crank, but it did slip with oem and 9.5 pulley and light weight crank. I used boost gauge to verify and rsx-s lol.

That was my other thread lol. My crank pulley isn't the problem it's definatly belt length cuz the OBX pulley is alot smaller than oem so using the same belt works but when I get on it screeches like a **** normal driving is fine
#28
Well lol! Belt length shouldn't be too much of a problem because our cars are fitted with a tensioner. Yes go smaller, but it shouldn't screech at all. You know my recommendation lol. The more force (wot) and time of that force (higher gear), the more susceptible the belt is to slipping.

2005-06 s/c 9.5 pulley and the smaller alternator pulley by OBX a 882 might fit better but I had a rough day with this ____ my jack collappsed and fuxked up my rocker panel so this belt ____ is a pain lol

Really? I don't remember mine being that close. Well, I'll take your word for it. Oh and be careful, use jack stands when working under a vehicle, that car doesn't have feelings for you, it just obeys the laws of physics. Sorry to hear about your rocker panel.
