The AEM ECU and what it can do
#42
AEM and auto is pain. You loose lockup when you go AEM on auto and to people who actually have such setup (me on the car on my profile) it is a big deal and a pain in the ___. It will work but you need a manual lockup seitch which still sucks.

there are many factors that activate the lockup. something as simple as the ECT wire can keep lockup from engaging. i see ur pushing 600+, which means u're not using the stock MAP/MAF sensor. the auto tranny does not/will not recognize another type of airflow sensor, therefore can throw it off.
i've encountered this problem on my RSX, i had to wire the stock MAP sensor wire DIRECTLY to the auto ecu. but i dont really know your setup so i cant really help u.
there is a possiblity the wiring on the harness you're using is not complete. ATF temp, ECT temp, MAP/MAF, etc. Many things contribute.
if i had the helms for the tC, and the AEM EMS, i can try to make a harness that will allow the EMS to plug n play. i can even bypass the drive-by-wire system on the TSX to run the RSX Hondata KPRO ecu.
