Does the injector pulse have any direct effect on how much fuel is added ?

I have not had any luck with my base map on my fi/c either. Any time I pull fuel it goes back to rich right away. I am pulling -32 fuel at idle with trd injectors and still have a cruising a/f of 12:1 no check engine lights or anything.

The calculation to pull fuel to close to 14.7:1 AFR on the FIC is simple.

So if we changed from say 310cc to 660cc injectors then 310/660-1 = - 53 or - 53%.

Pulse width is the amount of time that the injector is open flowing fuel.

I did try it, it does cruise and idle good, but when I get hit the gas it leans of the chart. I rescaled it my injectors.

I found out that you can change the scale on the maps, i think when you convert to the new version the scale data is restore to defaults, leaving the map in the wrong place! Ill send you another map soon, mine is also too lean but ill be adjusting it. Looks like i need a fuel pump though, leans out @ 5500rpms even when injector pulse is 99.2 (max)

i might do that, im going to play with tuning a little more since alot of people say they have no trouble with 550s on stock pump, some people even running 11psi on stock pump and getting the right AFR's.

I didnt realize how much the O2 sensor map actualy affected the AFR - i might be playing with that this week.

We had a similar problem with "hicups" on the 08 tC we recently finished on FIC. I beleive it has something to do with the closed loop mode on the factory ecu that just cannot be altered with a piggy back. One more reason I love full standalone.

great... AEM suggested putting a 2.2k ohm resistor between some crank sensors, ill have to look to see which wires it was again.

I'll try this soon as it stops raining and i get a 2.2k ohm resistor. Still this wont fix y lack of fuel problem.

Try changing the injector pulse to what the dezod base map was set at and see if that changes the a/f at all. It seems strange that 440 are big enough for a Greddy kit at 8.5 psi and you have 550 that are maxed out at 8.5 psi.

It's very easy to max out injectors depending on where the MAF voltage clamp is enabled. Too early and they max out real quick.......
