Aem fic came with my used kit.. I want to know the best way to go about seting this up... I just pluged into the aem with my laptop and there r no saved maps .. does the aem save the maps or would my laptop save the maps?
I'm going to ge tuned in the next day or so should I wipe the aem and just drive to the tune or what?


I started the car lastnight with my xs manual boost. controller turnd down all the way and I an tell the fuel is off. What the best thing to do?

I just thought of something... the turbo I got was shot so iupgraded to a tdo5 20h little bigger then the 20g that would have been on the map. So that will mess the tune up alone

if the fic was used im sure it has a map on it and yeah since you changed to a diff turbo chances are the tune needs to be aligned with those changes.

to download the map thats on the fic you will need to open up a cal (in the fic program when you downloaded it has a map in its folder, its a zero'd out map with no adjustments), open up that cal, click on connect to fic, a box will appear that says the cal on the fic doesnt match the cal thats on the laptop, click to download it to your laptop, this will overwrite the cal you got from the fic folder (zero'd out map),

So I set a base map and ran it.. it ran pretty crappy.. so I changed the fuel injector sizing and it was even worse.. so I loaded the pre tuned map that was in there already and it drives very good even with the boost controller turnd down. So

How do I do this the other way... my car runs pretty good on the 10psi map that came with the used fic? I just want to make sure I have a saved file of the 10psi map in my computer.. the dyno tech said it could take hrs if I dnt have somewhat of a map already made.. my set up Is pretty much the same as the person I bought it from just with a new turbo so I just need to make sure I don't delete it by mistake
