Default AEM TruBoost Gauge Help!

first off, what is the red wire thats not connected for? is it supposed to be attached? and there should be a little metal thing on the end so that it doesnt just fall out of the pin right?

secondly, where are you supposed to hook these two wires up to the gauge?

(both pics are for the AEM TruBoost Gauge)

first problem solved.
now i just need to figure out how to hook up the 2 wires in the second pic.

the back of the gauge has a female 3 pin connector, but i bought the gauges used and there is no male connecter anywhere to plug in...

im going to contact AEM tomm. or tuesday, but any help is still appreciated.

which 3 prong connector? the second pic is that one branched from the main harness? i think thats the one going to the boost solenoid, then that is non polarity specific, from the main harness the grey and orange you dont have to connect it with anything, black is ground, red for 12v source fused switch

yea i know the orange and grey dont need to be connected, those are taped off to the side.

the two wires are not branched from the main harness, and yes they are from the boost solenoid. obviously the black is ground, so where does the red one connect to?

Polarity doesnt matter for the solenoid.

geeze. Why must people do a hack job on wires when they disconnect them for resale? My defi's were kinda hacked up like that but not as bad. Good luck figuring out where things go. I used the fog light harness for all of my power. 12v constant, 12v switched, ground.
