I would say no with the auto transmission unless you upgrade your valve body, put a trans cooler on, and maybe get a better torque converter.

How much Boost are you planning to run?
Your Trans isn't going to be able to hold more than 240 or so whp.. so that really going to be your biggest issue to worry over.

That shouldn't be a Problem, you're just limited to how much power you can actually put to the ground because the trans will start to slip.

Definitely, I'll be using that Turbo in my Custom too, I'm aiming for a Quick Car, not something with insane power, no 5spd Swap for me, no no no!

im saying no to the 10 WG spring and no to the gt30 as you might never spool it and never release its wrath on such low psi..

Yeah, you might wanna' opt for a smaller Turbo? Something with Insanely quick spool time.

On a 2.4 you should have no problem spooling that turbo.

I have tuned a few people that were making 10-12psi and they were on gt30s. Spooled well and fully.

I woudln't worry about it.

I would worry about the transmission that is all though.

With the cooler and good fluid it should live some. I would really recommend making sure the cooler is in a good place to receive air supply.

Trans will go before anything..... bottom line is boosting a auto will wear the trans quick. Then trans swap!! :D

B&M has a good Cooler that has a Fan attached that turns on when it gets to a certain temp.
