Did you have anything done to your Trans? Anything to build it up?

I'm gonna' have to buy some of the upgraded components before anything, because by the time I actually have all the turbo parts, my car will probably have like 30k on it.

yep my tranny is about done to down to 3 gears haha and major slipage but drives fine when not on wot. the waste gate spring i think might be to high deff go lower. i was shooting for 10 psi or 11psi but trans started slipping on dyno made 266hp and 234 tq. built trans next........

You said your trans was hoilding strong at 10lbs? Who built it for you level 10 or ipt?

SoFlo had Level 10.. IPT says their Built Trans can hold a little more than 400whp, but that's costly.

ya i have leveltens... it held good at 10 lbs but i put it to 15 and it started slipping but it should not have so i just took it out and went manual.. its just sitting here lmao.. but if someone were to send this tranny back to level10 to get it corrected it would cost hell of a lot less then sending there own because it already has upgraded valve body, upgraded torque converter and new pumps and what not.

No one's been interested in your Transmission? How much would you want for it?

i havent really tried to sell it, ive been debating whether i should go back to the shop i had do it and have them send it back to level10 or not for a while.. i dont really wanna spend shipping costs to have a tranny refreshed that im not even gonna use.

Well, I'm currently saving and spending on different turbo parts here and there, so if by any chance I have some cash in the coming months, and you decide to sell it, PM me with a price.

Two Options..
Look up either IPT or Level 10, they are the ones who would help with building it up.
You can either get an Upgraded Valve Body, High Stall Torque Converter, and Upgraded Clutch Packs, OR sending the entire Transmission to either of the two, and they will Re-Build it.

The first route can run you around $1-2k, not so bad really.. that's said to be able to hold around 310whp.
The second route, sending the trans off to be built, that can cost around $4-5k, but it can hold more than 400whp, and usually comes with longer warranty.

okay...what about just going manual tho...or is that what we are talking about? lol....like i know everyone says its not worth it go buy a differnet car but i only have 11000 miles on my car and doesnt make sence to trade my car for a manual one with more miles...but how much would it just to go straigh manual and would you have issues with it if u swaped the trans?

Yes but if stock fluid was used, if you eliminated the stock cooling all together, drove with your foot to the floor board and ran 6 PSI, of course the trans will fail.

We ship the kit with 5 PSI for a reason. We know it holds and works if you don't beat the snot out of the car, run your trans cooler AFTER the stock cooler AND run a synthetic fluid as well. Simple as that.

Heat is the #1 reason for trans failure. They heat up, cook the fluid and bye bye trans

well thats what i did, it comes with a 5 psi spring which i STILL have in my WG to this day but my boost gauge always read 6 aswell as the dyno, either way at 6 lbs if your running a full exhaust system pushing 230+ whp ur tranny will eventually die.. theres no getting away

I can't believe that.. I'm sure that if you drive normally without ******* it, it would be fine.
