Are you serious? It is incredibly difficult to launch a turboed car without slicks...who cares what my car can run on street tires? Who measures out a 1/4 mile on the street and then tries to time themselves? no one! its all about what you can run at the track. If you can lauch on street tires then all the more power to u! but i certainly cant launching at 2000 rpms spins my street tires through first and second gear with my engine damper. And to your "stage 0s run 13s with slicks emanange and a fmi" what are u talking about? I clearly showed in my video that i dont have an emanage or an intercooler. Stop hating!

Hmm, reading is better than you.

No where did I say you have to have all that to run 13's.
-----
here is what I wrote. (I copied it striaght from my post)
The debate all the time is can a stage 0 run 13's?
No it cant unless you do other stuff to it. Like run slicks, or get a frount mount and up the boost, or get a tune.

"Or" is a very important word in English

Thanks for the saying I am stupid.
I am an avid hater of street racing. All my racing is done in autocross or at the drag strip.

Although i can agree with somewhat what you said about usable power, and how street racing is stupid, there is nothing wrong with the kit. It runs just fine. Because of the quick spooling turbo, its pretty hard to get traction when launching in first.

Anything other than launching and theres nothing wrong with it.

Besides, alot of people that street race usuallly bring DR anyhow ( atleast were i live. )

It doesn't matter anymore about the stage 0 kit anyway. You can't get them anymore so who cares.

It will stop bothering when people stop posting threads saying how awsome their ZPI stuff is.

No, really, if someone posts a thread with a title like this, it is expected that we bash it like we do. I mean, this thread WAS directed specifiacally at the "Haters of the former ZPI"

See now that impresses me. The same tires run everyday, ran him into the 12's.
So is that the ONLY thing you have (Dezod turbo kit)?? No exhaust, management, etc. ??? Whether it may come with a kit ot not.... What impresses me is that the ZPI kit CAN run in the 13s with slicks and thats IT. No new injectors, management, FMIC, so on.

I understand that the world of racing has turned into a dick measuring contest, everyone tries to glorify their car and talk down others, but i still am pretty impressed with the kit, and obviously people with better kits and faster times are gonna hate. I in NO WAY support what happened to all of the unfortunate people that got screwed outta money from ZPI but those who didn't, got a hell of a deal on a decent turbo kit.

I didn't see the part where he called YOU out?? He is saying that the people that ONLY think street racing counts and tear up the streets daily are stupid.

You don't know me but i know you (from nearby shows) and i know you're NOT the a$shole street racer type and i understand where you are coming from about 318 having an impressive time, but white_trd has an impressive time too, just not AS impressive (but then again we're comparing apples and oranges.... Dezod vs. ZPI) . Like i said above it's just an old fashioned dick measuring contest, and neither side will ever win.

What about all the stories of the ZPI stage 0 kit where people had to reset the ecu once a week because it started running way to lean? The factory computer starts leaning the mix out as time goes on..

Since when?

The only time the factory compnuter adjust is when its in closed loop, and you part throttle boost. all turbo kits have that same problemunless you disconnect your primary o2, or you use the greddy pressure sensor, or if you have a emanage, then you could use the dezod black box .
