I'm going to cruise and enjoy my completed tC for a little while, and then upgrade to a white IS250, dump it on coils, and then throw some work VS-XX on them. Call it a day. It'll be a little while, a little after I graduate. Time to start saving though.

Got my dp in today, 4 bolt to v band flange conversion 3" dp that i've been waiting a little while for. I spoke with Todd earlier and he said it was basically a one off piece he made himself.
The flange itself was a nightmare to put onto the turbo, the bolts had a little play to them. After an hour i manage to get the flanged on, dodging my wastegate, hotside piping, and radiator with my 13mm wrench. I put the downpipe on and it looked like it was dead on, I was psyched!
I then tried to bolt the spipe on to the down pipe. Nope, not even close once again. The bend on the spipe is off. Funny how a TT downpipe won't even fit on a TT spipe. I brush it off as I was planning on going to the exhaust shop in the morning anyways. I was just hoping that the spipe will actually fit on the downpipe thats all.
After that fiasco, I tried to bolt on my dump tube that I had been waiting a few weeks on. To my amazement, it didn't fit either. Why you may ask? Well, since I have a one off down pipe, it gets in the way of the dump tube. grrrr...
Here I sit now, Mr. Todd. You have officially broke me. I raise up the white flag and surrender. I can't do anything else but smile and laugh. Being ____ed off just doesn't work anymore. I'm about half an inch off from pulling the plug on this project and going back to NA.
Its really funny how things work out, doesn't it? I wait 9 months and this is what I get. Thanks Todd.
Regards,
A-not-so-happy Kevin

Jon, you win the wager. How would you like my v2.1 one kit as a prize? hahaha.
Boys, I just don't know what to do anymore. I thought boost was suppose to be fun, but what I've endured over the course of 9 months, I'm not sure if it is worth it all.
And chris, I appreciate the offer. I may have to go down to houston this summer to get a dump tube made from you. That is if I keep this kit.
I am beyond speechless right now. I just got up and left the garage.

Oh and boost sucks. It's fun for a while, then it gets old. I love it, but at the same time I hate it.
I just can't wait until I buy my Harley and Camaro SS. My tC has shown me the way of the V8 and all it's torquey awesomeness.
As hard as it might be, I'd honestly say just stop modding the tC and start saving up for the IS250. If I had known I was going to fall in love with the Camaro, I wouldn't have boosted my car, wouldn't have redone my entire interior, etc...However, it's a great learning experience and a great foundation for starting a life towards modding cars.

What kind of mid-pipe do you have Kevin? If your midpipe mated to the stock s-pipe, and the new s-pipe should mate to the stock midpipe...that means there should be no problem mating the new spipe and your current midpipe.

it happens... just be glad nothing major has happened... like my fiasco with the radiator or with the boomslang PnP harness... it took 3 trips to UMS and a 4 hour call to AEM to figure out that there was a resistor where there shouldnt be
