The PTuning exhaust comes standard with VBands...

And the PTuning midpipe mates to the stock Spipe. I know because I used that as an exhaust for a month before my turbo install.

The last portion of the ptuning exhaust, the J pipe it looks like, i thought it was a two bolt on one end and vband on the other. Mine is vband on both sides.

Because the fitment really is horrible. The hot side sits lower than the jack point and was rubbing against a bolt, which was starting to cut through the pipe. The cold side sits lower than the jack point, the BOV touches my hood, the coupler between the two hot side pipes is slightly crushed because it was needed to be positioned at such an extreme angle (essentially, I was given a straight piece to use as a 45 degree piece).

Actually, my BOV hits my hood in two different spots. The adjustment screw on top AND the mouth piece thing.

Oh yea, I forgot about that piece. It's a small 8" section that that goes between the Spipe and Midpipe, right?

carb you talking bout the driver side pipe how it needs a 45 to connect it to the pipe with the BOV ? I was thinking bout buying a 45 but did not know what the kit came with. I dont want my Black HkS rubbing either but I dont think I will have a problem with that/

i see. my cold side sits lower then my jack point. thats my only fitment issue. which with some minor adjusting it isnt that bad. BoV doesnt hit my hood. weird how 2 kits that are the same fit so different.

No, the kit comes with 90's that you need to cut yourself to make the straight sections and the turbo outlet/throttle body couplers.

Yes sir. That is the right piece.

The truth is, every TT kit is custom and none of them will fit the same.

Stuff that doesn't fit on my V2.1

Downpipe (old one used to hit the oil pan and was nearly impossible to bolt up. )
S- Pipe , This thing wont fit onto my dp.
Cold side IC pipe, its a few inches short where the turbo connects.

My bov doesn't hit the hood and my ic piping doesn't hang low.

We spent an entire day to get the BOV as low as possible and the IC piping as high as possible, and this is the best we were able to come up with.

Hot side

Cold Side

Failure angle on coupler. It's almost like the pipe was missing an entire 4" 35 degree angled section. Hard to tell, but the coupler is at such an extreme angle, that it doesn't even sit on the piping on the back side.

And the damaged BOV. I put the cap on it so the top screw wouldn't poke a hole through my hood. It actually started chewing away at the inside of the hood.

and sorry for the insanely bright shots. I set my flash to almost max power.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the one where the bolt almost chewed through my piping. I didn't get a good shot of it, but it's all the way on the left. I wrapped it in header wrap and had to use zip ties to pull the charge pipe away from the bolt. I noticed it about 1 week after I installed the turbo, and it was already more than halfway through.

At first I didn't zip tie it, I just used some leftover coupler. The bolt head managed to make it's way through that. So I put some header wrap around it, put another coupler around that and pulled it as far back as possible and zip tied it to the wiring harness bracket on the A/C compressor.

Fitment issues make my head hurt. Sorry to hear you had to endure fitment problems as well.

Well, at least I wasn't the only one. LOL
