BTW so i dont sounds like an idiot - the reason it looks like that is exhaust gases, fuel, metal bits,a nd other crap from spun bearings - thats why u arent making oil pressure - spun main or rod bearing

Thanks for the offer nick, but I think I'm out of the scion game now. I got to do everything I wanted with the car, the turbo being the last. I'll see you asylum man.

ya man do not give up. Make it a project car. you might as well now. You have put all that time and money into it. You can get another motor for around 5- 1100 most places. you can either throw another stock one in their and build the one you just blew. I wonder why it blew though. Could it have been from the gasket of the oil pan clogging it up and restricting oil to the motor causing it to burn itself out ?

I don't think it was the gasket... there really wasn't any gasket material in it. I think it is still a mystery.
I don't WANT to give up, but I don't have the time to deal with it. I don't know what to think right now, I'm just really sad and i'm pretty sure i'm going to be out of the scion game.

damnit kev...real sorry bro...thers deff some damage going on...what oil did you start off with?...i dont think its the oil per say that caused this nor do i really think it was the turbo.

hey man i hung in there you had the same probllem i did what year is your car?? i found out mine was from the sealant in the factory timing cover was ground by my chain and clogged it maybe this could be the cause im still not sure thats what happend to mine but it looks like the only cause anytime you see low oil pressure turn the car off tow it home pull the oil pan check it out

sorry to hear about that man.. why it went like that is even a mystery you havent even boosted it yet. but if you give it some time and cool off your frustrations you might still hold on the tc.. but if you move on thats good too if you get something better

ya it sucks but how bout trading it in for another one and just slap the turbo set up and wheels to the new one ? man your shiit looks clean and not a lot of people can say that about their cars.
