I doubt it was the kit man does not make sense. Going boosted is definitely money consuming man. I have to save to go to school and finish my car. It will be worth it, probably is already. Reason I say is look at all the knowledge that has come from this.

You know man, that is exactly what my mom said when she was trying to cheer me up. lol. I've learned a lot from this process. I'm going to hang on to the kit for a little while, but I'm going to sell my emanage, pnp harness, and support tool. If I return to boost I'm going to use the fic. I messed with carlos's fic and it was SO much better than the emanage software.

During the motor swap I think i'm going to go with a CC stage 3. This disk should be pretty streetable for NA use, and should be able to hold power to the turbo if I do decide to go turbo again in the future. If I go turbo again, it will be a low boost application of like 6psi or so max.

You should def do the swap yourself - you seem to be pretty mechnically inclined and its really not that hard - your first motor swap will take about 12-15 hrs to pull the motor than 8-10 to go back in than it goes down from there - i can do a complete swap in about 8 hrs lol

I did a motor swap last month on Crystals tC. Its a two day project for sure. I would do it myself but I don't have the time to do it.

Since i'm swapping motors, I'm going to replace the clutch while I am in there. Just for future longevity, and possibly low boost. I need something that I can daily. I have a stage 5 sitting in the garage, but I'm thinking that's not a good idea for NA. lol Opinions?

It doesn't matter what clutch you're running for N/A street use, because you'll never surpass the limits of it. The only thing you should worry about, is how much power you plan on making down the road and the drivability of the clutch. I'd say go for stage 4. Very easy to drive (takes a day or two to get used to) and is good for 350WHP. Plus if you're driving around N/A for 6-12 months with it, you won't even put a dent in the longevity of it.

the only thing w/ CC is that I've seen few stage 4 prematurely failing.. not sure if that has been fixed or not.. if not look into act stage 4 street disc, its interesting how driveable those are

Clutch Masters. I've had it for 7000 miles so far and 0 issues.

I'm going to go ahead and blame 90% of clutch failures on improper installation/application and/or abusive use.

I had the stage 4 CC clutch and it blew on me last month. Barely had it on for a year and they won't warranty it.

I'm not even boosted yet
