patience is the key there...i did a simple rebuild on my nissan that took about 4months...almost all of it was waiting for parts...

I was talking more along the lines of the actual building process. I've seen so many people just get the parts and put them in the block, without measuring anything, checking clearances or anything like that.

thats why it takes sooooooo long...you cant just order an assload of parts and just slap this ish togather....first you gatta know what you need (so you teardown the block) find whats usable, take measurements, then order your pistons (unless you had planed to resleave or bore ), order your bearings if your good on your crank, yada yada yada........it would take tooooo damn long for me to type this ish...lol

I'll be picking up my car tomorrow!

Turbo kit will be going up for sale very soon, I just got the final word of the bill...DOH. It hurts.

The company that my mechanic bought my motor from wants my blown motor back, or $150 co-pay to keep it. WTF is this? My mechanic told me the company wants proof that my mechanic didn't buy the motor to resell it or some crap like that. I think I want to keep the motor anyways just so I can figure out what the flip is wrong with it. I figure I can resell the motor for a bit more than 150 bucks.
