I just got home. About to start working on my car.
The checklist:
Fix my exhaust
Make my dp/sp fit
wire up my gauges
install a coupler
plug all the sensors up
put oil in the car
mount the intake
that should be it.

DAMN IT. Its 3am and I still can't get that damn DP to fit. I've already beat the f out of it with a hammer with only minimal progress. I'm at my whits end with thing. Every other word i've said in regards to that dp has been a swear word. I'm taking it out again tomorrow and beating it with a sledge hammer. This is absolutely ridiculous. Fortunately, I have another one coming, I hope it fits better than this POS.
Me beating the ____ out of it and it still not fitting.
[/end rant]
Side note, gauges are in, i just have to tap the power for them. Exhaust is in the correct position now. Bed time now boys, I've been up for nearly 24 hours now. I woke up hella early to study for my circuits test today. Night guys

looks like the only problem now is just the dp, but its possible the spipe might not fit too, you're gonna have to modify the spipe to bolt up with the ptuning.. other than that i think you have done all the harder stuff

yeah that could have been the fastest route.. if only you didnt hammer your dp. but you can drive the car still, you can cut your downpipe below the O2 bungs and start enjoying the car.. and oh you need to tune first

You should just get the PTuning S-Pipe...won't have to deal with any of this BS.
Also, if you want to make the gauge wiring as easy as possible, just delete the cig lighter and use that power/ground and you're done.

I beated on the dp some more and I finally got it to fit. I would have cut it but I don't have anything to cut it with here on hand. There is a blizzard going on outside and there is about 6-8 inches of snow on the ground and its still coming down hard. I'm taking a break and putting the car back down on the ground here in a few so i can finish up the gauges.

^^ the ptuning spipe is a vband or a two bolt?
and kev, look at the last pic i posted on page 1.. notice the vband connection, thats where i cut it before i had the vband flanges welded.. its just like running a very short downpipe just enough to run w/ O2 sensors.. if you cut it before the section that hit the pan, it will bolt up on top.. well you got it to fit anyways lol

I'm going to end up graduating a semester early, so I may end up taking one of those 8 month course to learn how to weld. I think it would be a good skill to have.
two things left to do:
1) oil
2) wire in the guages to power.
((3. clean up my mess)

^^ its almost done then.. so go ahead and pour that oil and cut your list down to 2.. if you have a lil brother you blackmail let him do the cleaning bahahaha.. then thats 1 left on the list.. gauges will be your last you can also use those add a fuse taps and its gonna look clean, its only up to 10 amps each though..
and has your car come alive already? remember to check oil leaks right after you start the car. more pics man

Unfortunately, i'm the youngest one in the family. lol So i'm the one that usually takes the grunt of cleaning.
I have to figure out this wiring thing, I need constant 12v, switched 12v (ignition on), illumination, and ground. I'm going to dig around and see what i can find! I'll report back in a few hours.
