I have to figure out this wiring thing, I need constant 12v, switched 12v (ignition on), illumination, and ground. I'm going to dig around and see what i can find! I'll report back in a few hours.

For the constant 12V, just run a wire to the fuse box. There are pre-wired slots, you just need to use a volt meter to figure out which ones are power and which are ground. For switched 12V and constant ground, just use the cig lighter. It's the easiest option.

Tapping FTL. Fuse box = easier to uninstall.

its official, spipe is also all sorts of wrong. Its not even remotely close

Sorry have to post....

the s-pipe is fine.

But when you mount a s-pipe to a bad dp of course its not going to fit.

Just cause you were able to "bang the u know what" out of the dp so it would clear the oil pan doesn't mean that its now sitting in the correct position.

Its not, thus the problem domino's into the position of the s-pipe.

Not rocket science to figure out.

Why create more of a problem and more work for yourself?

Granted I created this headache, and sorry you had to deal with it...

But take your time and think about things for a second. It might make your situation a little easier.

Regards-

Todd

I tapped the huge line in the back, i'm not sure what it was but its the one that has a metal tube in the middle of the section of hose. I just replaced the metal hose with the vacuum block and bought a new hose.

Update Update!

SHE'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Turned her over on the first try! She is loud as hell right now. I didn't see any leaks as of now, I only left her on for about 30 seconds. When I turned her off my wideband was reading at 11.4 afr @ 1200rpm. Not sure if that screwy because of the cold weather + first time start or what. I'm going have to do a bit more cleaning here and there, but I think she might be ready for a test drive if roads clear up.

Here are some pics!

looks great mang! but yeah on cold start, the car is in open loop and usually reads rich when cold so it would get warm faster and the O2 sensors doesnt read very accurate until fully warmed up

also your computer will sorta adjust to the tune, sounds like your 02 map prolly isnt jiving with the fuel that is being added by your engine management. im not real keen on the greddy blue so idk how it adds fuel exactly. but after it runs for about 30 min maybe an hour on the highway the ecu will look more at the 02 readings to adjust fuel as it sees fit. its ok though, its normal and shouldnt hurt your open loop operation (ie boost). if you have the scan gauge take a look at your fuel trims and youll prolly see that your not at zero.

congrats Kev, I was worried about the weather man. Just go to the way to the BA highway and drive it slow (60) until the fuel trims level out by themselves, a good 20 mins will do.
