I really dont think its possible to get down to the 13s without better tires. I hit 14.7 pushing 237 WHP. I dont see being able to drop 8 tenths off my time.

here is a question to ask, I ran a tenth better than you in the 1/8th, with the same setup (except I had the bosch 110, and 2 twelves in the trunk and 18" wheels).
Do you consider yourself a good driver? If you answer yes, then you kill the fact that the reason a person cant hit 13's is because of the driver.
If you say no, well then maybe it is driver error.

not trying to knock your driving or anything, just throwing it out there.

i think I am a decent/experienced driver, i dont see my times ever getting that much better in the 1/4 Mile (without tire changes)
I know, you're not trying to knock my driving we are just having a discussion.

your 9.6 time in a SC tc is good, more or less, for a 14.7-.8...BTW give me so more info on that run, trap speed, ambient temp. 60'ft. How did you run about the same 1/4 mile time with about 40WHP more? What were your 60'ft times, 2.7?

I know you can't get into the 13's without better tires, but i dont think you would need slicks or DR's..

I consider myself a decent driver, i admit i need more practice.. but it sounds like you focused yourself in making more power instead of upgrading you suspension, tires and drivetrain to handle the power you already had.

suspension is good. hotchkis sways, trd struts, springs, dc strut bar, and engine dampner. (didnt have sways or dampner with the times below tho)
The tires, ahhh not so much. I HATE THEM ACUTALLY. Kumho Ecsta 712s. JUNK!!!
I use the car mainly for autocross.

As far as times. These are with just the BPV. running stock boost. I have to find the slips from the night I dipped into the 9.6's stock.
My best ever with the boost turned up, was a 14.740 ( i will scan slipps tomorrow)
But with the boost up, I know my 1/8ths werent as good as below.

I circled the lanes I was in. You can see my best run was my 4th run. My 60 foots werent bad, 2.38

so on these runs you had the springs and the strut bar? wonder why you were trapping 76mph while i was trapping 72mph, might be in the launch?

springs, struts, and and strut bar.
Not sure, why the difference.

I know when i upped the boost, my speed increased alot more, but I only dropped down to 14.740. I think alot has to do with no traction.
