i dont think so. just had the f/ic, pnp harness, and thats it. i have an 06 manual though.
Oh ok, then nvm. I think it's only on the 07/08, or maybe just the 08...I don't know .

Nice numbers, but did you have a boost spike @ 4k or was that from running a bit leaner (can't tell what the AFR #s are on the chart, but it looks like it was getting a little lean from 3800-4600)

after about 25+ pulls, combined with the south florida summer. things started getting very heatsoaked, and the knock sensor started pulling timing here and there. plus the smoothing is turned down to show the true max hp made on the run.

i know it looks a little wierd, but you gotta remember that its because of timing being pulled due to heat soak. we pulled 2 degrees of timing across the board to see if it was indeed the knock sensor. the pull was smooth, with no dips. thats how we knew it was due to excessive heat. so we then returned the timing to normal.

AHHH. I figured, but did not want to assume. Those SFLA summers where you sweat just from opening your door. Humidity so dense you can cut it with a knife. A 110 in your car in the shade, and hurricane season to trump. I DO NOT MISS IT!

A 2.2k ohm resistor placed between the Cam MAG+ and cam MAG- wires in the harness. Don't quote me on it though.

It's a resisiter that you splice in between those 2 wires...not sure why, but the idea came directly from Henry at AEM...and it works...

I think it fixed the 'hiccup' problem people were having under boost.

They were able to tune his car and rev it, so at this point he doesn't have THAT problem.

There was no need for them to add the resistors.......at this point. it might have to be done down the road, as there are cars that are developing the problem as time occurs.

Todd

Would you recommend that I do the resistor before I do my install, or wait for the problem to appear..?
