Another one bites the dust!!! Supercharger that is.........
Well, I had my first supercharger for 19,000 or so miles.Might have been 18,000, I forget. It was modified, but I was able to get it warrantied because there was no proof it was aftermarket parts that proved it.
Well after 2,000 (or 3,000) miles on the new charger, I have even more proof that its not the aftermarket parts that hurt the supercharger.
I have kept this one, 100% stock, even though I hate not having the power. And now this one is MUCH worse than the last one.
Both were istalled at different places, because I thought that mght be the issue. The dealer has done atleast 6 installs that I know of.
I have an appointment on friday to ge it verified and see what will happen.
Here is a sound clip.

That will be my goal. I am going to ask that they use they time they would to uninstall and reinstall it, to just turn the car back to stock and just give me the new one still in the sealed box. Then I will sell the new one, and put it towards a a turbo!!!

I want to go Dezod. They have the best out there. Turbonetics is out because of the Unichip. With living all over the world, I need something that I can have tuned anywhere I go.
Warranty is big for me. And I have stayed within it so far. But I am over 20,000 miles now. So its about time I forget the warranty!!!! I know the engine is strong to have lasted this loing, so warranty wise, I dont thnk I will need it from here on out.

My origional s/c made the exact same noise 2 weeks after install. I have a post somwhere on here with mine making that wonderful noise as well. They told me the bearings did not get enough oil and spun out. I do not know the validty behind that one. I am on s/c #2 which is about to be replaced because she is leaking oil from unknown locations. My S/C is stock minus the Bosch 110p.
Hope all goes well for you. Good Luck!

Yeah, it is kind of sad. I pretty much regret going S/C now even with the warranty to back up these issues, I am tired of dealing with them.
I am waiting on TRD to call my dealership for the OK to warranty the work.
I will let you know when I hear something from the dealership, *holds breath*
