I need a broken SC so Ripp can redesign a new kit based on the larger G-trim Supercharger. Have anything for me?

I have a blower sitting in my basement that I took off my car...only thing is it aint broken and Im looking to sell it...I was looking to get $400 but I would take $300 so you guys can get this project going. I say anyone who is interested in RIPP making a larger G trim setup(which is what I wanted to do from day one) they should just pool the money together and I will give you the blower for the R&D...I just donated $100 to the cause myself and I dont even have a tC anymore We only need $300 more now

pleast tell me the G-Trim will run better and not have as many problems as the TRD one. I haven't had any problems with mine (except a rougher idle than before it), but it just doesn't have the power I thought it would.

The problems with the F-trim aren't really vortech's problem. It's really limitations in the TRD design. Though it'd be much nicer to have a G trim since we'd be making more boost with the pulleys we have now.

As for power issues, I don't have those

its essentially the same blower housing with a different compressor wheel if im not mistaken. I thought about back in the day seeing if I can rebuild my F trim with the G trim wheel but unfortunately I found out it wasnt possible. Its good to see Ripp stepping it up for you guys and thats why I dont mind selling this thing for less than what I wanted since its for the benefit of everyone.

yeah...I am on the fence:

1) Upgrade Supercharger (wait for Ripp G-Trim)
2) Go Turbo
3) Go WRX and enjoy AWD along with the power
4) Stay with what I got...too slow for what I put into it.

after test driving the WRX....it makes me lean towards #3. But the fact that I still owe 9500 on my financing makes me move back to 1 or 2.

Alot of us are in this boat.
I am going for the build the supercharger route. It might change tomorrow tho, and then change again the next day.

Once again I agree with you. I'm about to move soon so i have to save some money for the new house. 1or 2 might be in my books too or hopefully They will be better upgrades coming out soon for the current s/c.

Anyone want my new blower? I've seen people spent more money on rims and tires than what I'm asking for..... not even nice rims at that (guys I know).

well I went with #3. Took delivery on Black Friday.

So the scion is sold, the WRX is in. So far it kicks major tC butt.

How much more to insure the WRX compared to the tC?

costs me 350 more a year so instead of 900 it costs 1250 a year.

low risk category to high risk.

Oh and I have a perfect driving record.
