I can't believe people are still on this Z06 ordeal. Get the flip over it. 99% of Corvette owners are 50-60 year old males who need a ***** extender. Odds are, they can't drive. Yes, they're insanely fast, but put a ____ty driver behind the wheel and a Civic will beat him. You can't go off numbers. Get over yourself Flint. Seriously.

Can we get back on topic? Kthx.

no regrets btw.. if your mind is open, love fixing up and tweaking your car then you wouldnt regret.. but if you are a guy who buys a car drives it and then take it to a shop for maintenance like change oil and stuff then turbocharging is not for you..

You will be more stressed out with the following

1. Maintenance
2. Cost
3. Time

My only regret was not having the header and DP ceramic coated from the start. The polish looked amazing for oh.... 1000 miles haha.

well hopefully when i get the money i'm gonna go with the black piping but i was wondering if there is any way to hide the fact that ur turbo'd like modifying the old exhaust shield to cover the new turbo setup? which leads me to ask a new question does anybody have "hidden" turbo kits?

^^no suck thing.. sorry man but anyone who knows anything about cars will instantly when you you pop your hood know you are turbo.. charge piping, intake pipe, bov, wastegate, and will be pretty obvious but you can anodize your intercooler black so its a sleeper on the outside.. i.e. - no stickers. sleeper look is always the best!

Ok, I am going to try and take 15 more seconds out of my life to make you all try and understand this.

LS1 is not equal to the LS7 ... not even FRACKING close. So ... bravo for beating the LS1 ... I could have done that in my turbo 200SX from 1985.

I have not bashed anyone in this thread ... not one ... everyone has been bashing on me because I speak the truth. Like it or not, it is the truth. Put a driver behind the average DECENTLY powered turbo tC, put a decent drive behind an LS7 Corvette ... and the Vette is going to be showing his tails. BOTTOM LINE.

And CarbonXE ... I don't really know what to say to that ... get over myself? Why is it that you splurge such crap? Someone deliberately attacked me and essentially stated that I was an idea to think I could afford a GTR, so I simply explained to him that his Mcdonald's burger flippin' job is not the same as my career. I don't care if I am 25 or 55 ... I make what I do. Not bragging, I was stating the facts.

And again to the original poster, my only regret is living in NY because I can't boost legally, or illegally without a hassle.

I am an active duty united states navy combat search and rescue swimmer.

And you only got attcked because your a clown, no wait clown shoes.. The point from the start was take your vette hugging to proper place!

I understand... but heres the thing...

LS7 Vette is how much??? 50-65 GRAND? around that...

the Nitto tire tC is 800WHP... ported out to a 2.6L. and still not 50GRAND total! (not even close)

that WILL KILL the LS7... so puttin the money on the table... the tC got it...

for the same price as the LS7... the Nitto tC (800whp) will run laps around it. even on the track because the body has been reinforced body-wise and A LOT of suspension work has been done.

Show me one DAILY DRIVEN tC that is over 500WHP. Yes I know about ScionGTRs car ... but it isnt running ATM anyways. You are just being rediculous now, I am taking a stock Vette (LS7) and you are taking a HEAVILY modified tC ... which would cost more than $50,000 total ... sorry my friend you are incorrect.

Again I hate to argue my point any further, my intention was not to ruin the OPs thread. If you have any other ridiculous statements, claims, or proof that any really DD tC can eat a new Vette alive please the video via PM.

Sorry to the OP.
