SEARCH.... you don't have to get any kit tuned.... however, if your car blows up you'll kick yourself in the behind later.

well first of all i wouldnt get that but if you wanted to get it you should get some kind of engine management...i mean its not safe to run without IMO

i would get the GReddy kit or better yet get the TT basik kit with engine management if you wanted something more reliable than the Treadstone kit...

yeah, u can get a base map for any turbo setup with the aftermarket piggybacks...but i would always recommend a tune, to not only get the most out of your setup...but to remain safe and prolong your engine and turbo life

um.. i went with 3 weeks without a tune (not on purpose either..long story)... if u wanna drive with black smoke comin outta ur exhaust and definately kill ur gas milage (refueling almost every 2 days) and most importantly increasing your chances of blowing up ur engine....and running extremly rich.. .. then by all means drive without a tune...

its not worth being lazy... invest in an engine management sytems the greddy emanage or aem f/ic...

ever since i was tuned... the car has been running hella better, smoother acceleration, no more of my bumper turning black, gas mileage has incresed or at least its back to normal as if i was still N/A...

boost takes a lot of effort not necessarily time if its done correctly. I'm looking for greddy ultimate to tune my car with. Then bringing it to someone who knows what they are doing. No reason to destroy my engine bc I wanted to save money!!! Basically if its the money stick to n/a its cheaper, throw on I/h/e and you are good to go!

x2 for the TT basik kit!!! There are a lot of base maps to at least get you rolling, but wouldn't recommend at all running on it daily... grow some cahonas and pay for a tune or tune it yourself!!!

All turbo systems require some tuning to accomodate for variances in altitude, octane etc available.

If you want the most out of ANY system, consider a tune.

it is highly recommended that you get a tune. What is a few hundred more to get a proper running setup? in the end, you will have more power, a much safer A/F ratio mixture, and peace of mind. good luck
