Default Anyone running AEM Tru-boost?

I just got my turbo installed with the AEM Tru-boost... and i cant quite figure it out.

Can anyone give me a run down on how this thing works?

I did a search and i have found that if you set it at "8psi" it may allow spikes up to 10-12psi?

Thanks.

Make sure you break in the turbo first before you start boosting.

there is no setting for psi on the tru boost...it is set up by duty cycle. mines not actually on right now, but you could ask java or ace.
also, check out the gauges section on the forums at aempower.com

yup, pretty much all is explained in the manual.. and check out aem forum at aempower.. you have to adjust your wastegate crack pressure to avoid boost spikes.

duty cycle is the duration for a work to be completed before it resets.. like what the word itself describes, but not sure too which duty cycle is this truboost talking about.. but yeah the higher % you set the truboost the higher the boost setting

ok so from what i understand you have to test it to see what duty cycle you have to set it at to reach your amount of boost. So after i get tuned ill have to play with it to see what duty cycle it should be at to maintain 8psi

yes and your wastegate crack pressure too.. but no, have it set first before you tune.

you can have it set by your tuner.. but you have to hit boost anyways after install so you would know some if there's any install issues like vacuum leaks or something loose.. but it should be done with precaution
