kid never learns....... anyways back on topic. Does anyone think that you can get gears from other toyotas ? like celicas ?

your better off with other toyota parts... preferable old school since new school is so wimpy!

What year Corrola or camry am I looking for tomorrow? Gonna get an auto and swap out the guts sometime hopefully soon... Once I can afford a shift controller.

It would be either a 02+ camry or solara. The corolla had a different transmission I believe.

I actually have always liked the first gen solara. But an SLE V6 is where its at. You can make those go fast!

I found em just that they wanted 500 for it... Too much, I can't afford it right now.

Well for 600 I could get the new clutch packs that lvl10 said were good to 400+hp. 500 seems high for something we are not sure is even going to work... Not to mention the 700 for the trans controller I would have to get.

I am tired of redlining at 120.........................................................................

I want to figure out a way to put an overdrive gear on the shaft or something that I can activate from the inside like they did on the old Plymouths, PUSH BUTTON SHIFTER FTW! I know nothing about FWD platforms, lol. I can put an LSD on the auto right?

About to purchase the TRD LSD come Monday, and I have been shopping around for a Camry transmission. So more progress to come on this idea/project. I am very excited to get into the transmission and see what can be done!
