Anyone running the fic along with bc f/i cams?
I had these cams installed along with the valve springs & retainers on my built motor and didnt really like the idle and how the valves chattered. So i had them removed and switched from emanage ultimate to fic. Im starting to wonder if i should of kept them in and dealt with it for the benifits of running them.
Im curious how they would work with the fic? anyone using this combo? I was under the impression the fic could not tune them, but my tuner thinks different,

lol. he said the chattering was because the valves were lose and it wouldnt be a prob. He said he could of went back in l8r and tightend them if i wanted. Do you know if its possible to tune the cams when using the fic?

got it, sounds awesome. its weird my idle was all over the place. Im beginning to think it was the tune. did you install these after being turboed or at the same time? curious to know before and after impressinns and #s. I went turboed at the same time as have=ing the motor built so i had nothing to compare it too.

u cant just drop things in, they have to have proper clearances and u prob didnt have the right buckets. my head is loud as ***** with valves, springs, retainers and stock cams.. its obv going to get alot louder with work done.

with aggressive cams you should see a more unstable idle, some richer tuning can help with that.. but properly building the head is must, clearances should be checked otherwise you cant really expect it to work properly
