Attention Turbo Tc's! 3 Inch Exhaust Anyone?
#25
Hi guys. As Ben said, it is a test piece but production should be identical save for a small change to the middle bend portion. We are simplifying it a bit but also making it straighter. Less bends is always better. I will have sound files soon. Perhaps tomorrow. Pricing? Well we are still figuring it out. Will know later this week once we have the jog built and I can build another one on it to clock my production guy. Will post that later this week. By the way it mates perfectly to our turbo kit since that has a 3 inch downpipe and s pipe.

Thank you all. I have the new prototype built and tacked. We are jigging it now and hope to have some cranked out for purchase next week if people are interested. I will get pricing together too but it will be less than $900 for sure. We ended up making it a 3 piece setup to make it easier to install and ship.

i want to see an exhaust that has the muffler/mufflers under the car. these low sitting muffler in the back tend to get folks pulled over in my state. if they see a fart can they will pull you over without even hearing it.

I stopped by the shop tonight to see the final product and it looks sweet as hell. Its a 3 piece system to keep shipping cost down. This is a grade A system. Fitment is as good as it can be. Whoever gets one will love it.

anyone else think a 3 inch aftermarket exhaust is pointless??
I mean especially with the resonator (I think I see one on there)...
Anyone who gets a three inch exhaust will be pushing 400 hp or more and they will not want any type of restriction. Plus these guys will probably go with a custom fabricated exhaust.
I think the only reason to sell this is as a strictly straight pipe with nothing except the exhuast tip.
If you don't do this then I only see noobs who are impressed with their "bigger is better" philosophy buying this exhaust...
However bigger is not better as it slows down the velocity of the exhuast gases exiting...
I don't mean to knock the craftsminship or the effort, just wondering about the idea.
Keep it up,
JOE

Depends on how much power you are making Joe. As you increase flow demands it will aid to make more power and a lot of these guys are pushing more and more power with built motors. It also has a deeper tone compared to 2.5 inch setups and the resonator and muffler are both completely straight through designs to keep restrictions at a minimum. If someone wanted just piping I could make that too but I think the number of people wanting something like that are minimal.
